The board is the driving force behind all activities within the PWN Stockholm network and to achieving our goals around gender balanced leadership and professional development for women through events, corporate partnerships, mentorship and career support.
The VP Events role is critical to ensuring success within our membership base. The VP Events role works closely with other board roles, especially: VP Marketing, VP Technology, VP Social Media, Treasury and President. Key area of responsibility is to drive, coordinate and deliver relevant and valuable member-focused events as a core offering of the PWN Stockholm membership.
The role includes tasks such as:
Identify and book speakers for regular member events
Manage online events
Coordinate and book appropriate venues for member events
Communicate event summaries to VP Marketing and Social Media in good time for promotion of the event
Coordinate with PM Events to ensure events are staffed and catered according to requirements
Coordinate with PM Events and board to ensure representatives welcome new and existing members at each event
Manage a team of event volunteers
Requirements for VP Events role are:
Minimum of three years working experience / business experience
Fluency in English, the official language of PWN (Swedish or other languages an advantage)
Excellent organisational skills
High level interpersonal skills
A sense of proactivity and self-motivation
A wish to actively contribute to a positive future workforce
Ability to contribute approximately 16 hours a month to the network (including events and a monthly board meeting)
