PWN Stockholm - VP Membership

The board is the driving force behind all activities within the PWN Stockholm network and to achieving our goals around gender balanced leadership and professional development for women through events, corporate partnerships, mentorship and career support.

The VP Memberships role is a key part of our member and events team, responsible for helping to bring in and retain members in the network, as well as setting strategic plans and action lists for achieving overall network goals. 

The role includes tasks such as:

  • Management of membership journey (e.g. the journey from registration to getting involved)
  • Establish and maintain a strategy to recruit and/or retain members
  • Troubleshooting membership related issues (e.g. regarding payment)
  • Work with the VP Events to plan member events which meet member interest, have a clearly targeted member demographic, and will deliver clear learning objectives
  • Assist in building relationships with members e.g. through responding to personal messages on social media, greeting them at events, and reaching out to soon-expiring members
  • Gather member feedback

Prior experience in membership activities is not essential but the VP Memberships should have:

  • A minimum of three years working experience / business experience
  • Fluency in English, the official language of PWN (Swedish or other languages an advantage)
  • A sense of proactivity and self-motivation
  • A wish to actively contribute to a positive future workforce
  • Ability to contribute approximately 16 hours a month to the network (including events and a monthly board meeting)
