PWN Stockholm - Secretary General

The board is the driving force behind all activities within the PWN Stockholm network and to achieving our goals around gender balanced leadership and professional development for women through events, corporate partnerships, mentorship and career support.

In this role, you will be the primary steward of PWN Stockholm’s financial resources and records. You will serve as an advisor to the Board on the financial impact of all decision of the Network and ensures that the financial aspects of the Network are managed in conformance with the Network’s financial policies and Swedish Law and Regulations. 

Duties and responsibilities

• Works together with the President to develop the agenda for the Board Meeting and Annual General Meetings
• Takes notes at the Board Meetings and at the Annual General Meeting
• Coordinates and communicates with the Secretary General leads across all city networks to share best practices and ideas, including attending a monthly meeting
• Ensures data privacy of our members and compliance with all applicable data privacy laws by external service providers
• Also serves as PWN Stockholm Treasurer:
  • Maintain profit and loss (P&L) records
  • Forecast expected annual income
  • Maintain and set annual budget and manages financial accounts
  • Report to board on budget status
  • Meet with marketing/events and other board members as required to discuss items that may influence the budget
