The PWN Stockholm City Network holds a monthly After Work (AW) every first Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday of the month. Both members and non-members are welcome! We also co-host gatherings with other networks for professional women. We are always on the watch for interesting speakers, so let us know if you would like us to invite someone who shares the values and missions of the PWN Network.
Our plan for 2016 will include monthly AWs that will have a variety of themes and at least 3 co-hosted events with a larger audience. We hope to present successful entrepreneurs, subject matter experts and implementors of strategies that has advanced women in leadership positions. This year, we also plan to have recurring lunches/dinners to enhance the interactions between our members. Confirmed events will be updated on the event calendar - stay tuned!

In our first afterwork event of 2017, we were excited to have Sofi Tegsveden Deveaux as our guest speaker. Sofi is the cofounder of Bee Swedish, which has been helping companies “crack the Swedish culture code, and understand how Swedish culture affects the way their Swedish business partners or colleagues communicate, in Swedish or English.”
Here are just some of the communication tools, we learned:
Individual – Assume the other person means well.
Interpersonal – Acknowledge common cultural traits rather than focus on the differences.
Organizational – Structure business meetings to allow time for interpersonal interaction.
We were pleased and excited to welcome Lotta Boman, currently Information and communications Director at Intellecta AB. We kicked-off this fall by co-hosting our event with Anna Eliasson Lundquist, founder and MD of Kvinnokompetensen. It was a full house at her premises. A very inspiring session about what brand is and how to cultivate one´s personal brand. Our gratitude to Anna for sharing her experience so generously with us. Many, any Thanks!
What a perfect way to finish the 1st half of 2016! Thank you to our guest speaker Pontus Wadström who talked to us about strategy - why many companies fail, how to best apply strategy and not forgetting that 'Strategy is a verb'! It was a very interesting, interactive and fun evening! And the Prosecco, strawberries and sunshine made it a true Summer AW! THANK YOU also to our members and guests for the 1st half of 2016, we're looking forward to a restful Summer and then having a great start to the autumn with our September AW!
What an exhilarating evening we had with Lisa Nauclér! A top performing athlete who once ran for the Swedish national team and represented Sweden in championships such as Finnkampen. Lisa Nauclér is one of the founders of the growing business. Let´s all meet-up at Karlberg for Monday runs! Many thanks Lisa for your time. Much appreciated.
Regina Celia Scheer, VP of PWN Stockholm and an accomplished professional in the area of Psychology and Human development held a workshop about how we manage our time. This was a session where participants had prepared by reflecting over how they spend their hours. An eye-opener exercise indeed! Participants were also given tools to help identify and focus on priorities. Lots of good, insightful group discussions. Fun, rewarding and many key take-aways. THANK YOU so much Regina and dear participants for making this workshop successful!
